Derekoy village remains absolutely unspoilt despite its proximity to Kas. It lies at the head of a great valley, has a medium sized river, small waterfall and dozens of springs. Even at the height of summer the view remains relatively green and the temperature stays well below that of Kas. The site for sale is around 100m from the entrance of the village, being perched on a small rock plateau looking North East up the entire valley. From this spot a dere (river), ruins, a waterfall, Arizona style precipices, snow-capped mountains and the minuet of Ugrar mosque can all be seen. This is the key attraction of the site; the view is breathtaking.

In addition to the flat plateau (ideal for the house) the plot consist of three terraces planted with olive, bay, fig, and pistachio. There is a lot of scrub to clear but the terrace are all linked and all offerba variation on the view.
The house would lend itself to a ‘provencale’ inspired home and could easily accommodate a swimming pool. There is room to split the plot in two.
